Liverpool on Verge of Europa League Success

Reds Win 3-1 at LASK, Move to Brink of Qualificaiton

Nunez, Diaz, Salah Find Net in Impressive Performance

Liverpool came from behind to beat LASK 3-1 in Austria on Thursday, moving to the brink of qualification for the UEFA Europa League knockout stages.

Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, and Mohamed Salah all scored for the Reds, who fell behind to a first-half goal from Husein Balic. The win leaves Liverpool top of Group B with 10 points from four games, three points ahead of second-placed Midtjylland.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was pleased with his team's performance, particularly in the second half.

"We started a little bit slow, but we came into the game better and better," Klopp said. "In the second half, we were much more dominant and we created a lot of chances. We could have scored more goals, but I'm happy with the win."

Liverpool will host Midtjylland in their final group game on December 10. A win or a draw will be enough to secure their place in the knockout stages.
