Carlos Alcaraz Reaches Fourth Round of French Open with Impressive Victory

Spanish third seed Carlos Alcaraz shrugged off injury concerns to reach the fourth round of the French Open with a convincing 6-4, 7-6 (5), 6-3 victory over Sebastian Korda on Saturday. Alcaraz, the youngest player in the top 10, had been struggling with a foot injury in recent weeks but showed no signs of discomfort against the American.

The 19-year-old broke Korda's serve twice in the first set and once in the second, before closing out the match with a comfortable hold in the third. Alcaraz will face Karen Khachanov of Russia in the fourth round.

Alcaraz has been one of the most impressive players on the ATP Tour this season, winning two titles and reaching the semifinals of the Australian Open. He is now the favorite to win the French Open for the first time.
